Corcoran Entertainment is a local entertainment business in Miramichi New Brunswick that specializes in enhancing the arts in every way. We stage two to three theatrical productions every year, release weekly podcasts, writing services, workshops, and more!
History
History
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Franky Corcoran had begun taking online playwriting courses to pass the time with the lockdown putting a halt on his regular theatrical acting pursuits. Having fallen in love with writing, Franky had undergone mentorships with his instructor, Paul Peditto and remained active with his writing consultancies until theatre opened it's doors again.
The company was officially launched on March 16, 2021 with the first production, A Night of One Acts, slated for October 2021, but was delayed to June 2022 due to a resurgence of COVID-19. Following the production's success, the company has only grown from there, and will continue to do so.
